I’m not entirely sure how to answer this question, but I’ll try anyway. I’d say the theme of it is change. Whether that’s letting go of the past to embrace future or revisiting the past to brighten your future, is up to you as an RP-er. If you’ve read the bios you’ll see that these families are smaller than a lot of family RP’s and we did that so each family could more easily work through their instabilities and their problems without trying to take too much on at once. Essentially if you’re applying to be a teen then there’s quite a lot you can do for para purposes, such as making friends with some of the other teens, trying to work through any family problems your character might have with their parents, or just dealing with growing up and everything that entails. If you’re applying to be a parent, you can obviously para some time with the mother or father of your child or children, try and work through whatever issue or issues your character and their husband/wife/partner/ex might have. You can para with your child as well of course and any friends that your character might have. Honestly, it would take me forever to tell you all of the things you could para. It could be anything the possibilities are endless. Thank you for your interest :) We hope to see your application soon.
This is Becky here, aka Layla, I just wanted to say I’m very sorry for the lack of activity and that people have stuck around even though we have been very inactive admins. I had a strange alergic reaction and the pills I got make me sleep all the time, but now I am back and ready to roll. So if you’re still here, please like this post and feel free to send any suggestions/storylines you want to play out to the main page and we’ll get things moving for you all.
We’re also going to do a big activity check, so if you’ve not been around because you thought it was dying, then now’s the time to come back. We’re not going to penalise people when we haven’t been around ourselves, that being said, we’re going to leave it 24 hours and then do the check.

We as the Admin, just wanted to say thank you to whoever sent this in. We’re very glad that you like it here, and don’t worry we know things have been slow but we’re working on getting the last of the bios done, and we’re battling with school, work, and just life in general, but thank you so much to the person who sent this in and thank you to all of our current members for being awesome.

Finn and Rachel went through with their wedding and despite both of them feeling slight reservations, they were in love and the next step was to get married. Only, with marriage, came compromise and neither of them realised that compromising on their dreams was going to be the price they paid for love. Rachel didn’t get into NYADA, she knew in her heart it was because of her new relationship status, maybe they suspected she was pregnant, who knew? But the fact was, everything she planned for, came crashing down around her and she clung to the one person who still made her feel like the most talented girl in any room. Finn. When he received an offer to go and study sports science at NYU, Rachel followed. She may not have gotten into the school of her dreams, but at least she could still live in the city.
Whilst Finn studied Rachel got a job as a waitress, attended countless auditions, only for her world to fall apart even more. At nineteen, she was pregnant and as far as Rachel was concerned, that was it for her. Both of them poured everything they had into being parents, they didn’t have much money, but Rachel was good at love, she was good at passion and she poured, maybe too much love into their little boy. Now, Finn is the coach at the private school all their friends children attend and Rachel is once again attending auditions, hoping maybe to get her big break. Only, when she gets knocked down, she no longer goes to Finn to build her back up. She knows it’s wrong that she has feelings for Santana, knows that just because their secret affair makes her feel better about herself it doesn’t make it right, but she can’t make herself stop. Finn has no idea what’s going on, he can feel his wife slipping away from him, but he’s always been good at denial and he will do everything he possibly can to keep his family together.

Oliver “Olly” has grown up surrounded by so much love, too much love is probably the right word for it. An only child, to two parents that poured all their affection into him rather than each other, he’s grown up kind of stifled. Olly is a gentleman through and through, although, he doesn’t have much luck with women. Mostly, considering his mom is incredibly over protective and doesn’t think any girl is good enough for her baby boy. Olly is clever, he knows what to say to spin a situation the way he wants it to go and he’s good at getting people on his side using only his words.
He attends NYU studying literature, his mom not having much luck in the arts, she was determined that he’d study something academic and he didn’t have the heart to refuse her, even if it isn’t what he wants to do. The truth is, he’s failing, he got so caught up in the college lifestyle, parties, late nights and making new friends that he didn’t put the effort in he needed to. There have been multiple times he’s paid Layla Anderson-Smythe to do his work for him and the A’s he got put his average up at least a little. The truth is…Olly knows there’s something going on with his parents, he just doesn’t know what and until they come out and tell him the truth, he really doesn’t see why he should be trying to please them with school any more.

Kurt broke up with Blaine a month after he left for college in New York, both of them deciding that distance was too hard, especially with Kurt’s demanding Parson’s schedule. He never thought he’d get over Blaine, but meeting up with Dave again at a college party one night changed everything. They had a connection and after a few months of dates that they refused to call dates, they finally decided to make it official. Kurt remained friends with Blaine, even managing to strike up a tentative friendship with Sebastian, who Dave was close too. Their families remain close, Kurt and Dave treating Layla and Wyatt like part of their family.
Now, Kurt is a famous fashion designer, his line known all around the world and his designs in demand. Dave is a well known sports agent, after studying at NYU and although their love is still strong, the amount they both work is starting to put a strain on their home and family life. It’s very rare they’re both home in time for family dinners and their children almost never get both parents at once. They send their children to the posh private school and yet they can’t help feeling they aren’t doing enough, yet neither of them have scaled back their work load.

Aiden is probably the complete opposite to his sister, with parents that work all the time; he doesn’t see much point trying hard with his school work. He can just about scrape C’s and if he wants to get a higher grade he’ll pay one of the twins to do it for him. He loves his sister but her relentless ambition annoys him a lot of the time and he doesn’t understand her obsession with ruling the school. His real passion is art and he puts all his efforts into that, channelling all the emotions he won’t deal with into his drawing and that’s one class he doesn’t have to cheat on to get ahead.
He loves his dads, but he can’t help wishing they were around more, there’s always one of them at home, but there’s never any family meals and he misses the time when they were all a family. Aiden is a sweetheart, he would do anything to help somebody out, if he can do something for another person, he will and there have been times he’s done things he doesn’t particularly agree with, just because he can’t resist the big sad eyes his sister makes when she’s in manipulation mode. Aiden is a true gentleman, but a lot of the time, he struggles to talk about more than mundane things, because he’s so used to simply channelling emotions into his art.

Once most of the New Directions graduated, including Artie’s crush Quinn Fabray, and once Sugar’s romance with Rory ended, which happened when she found out he lied to her about not being able to stay in the states another year, it wasn’t entirely surprising that Sugar and Artie decided to explore their romantic connection a bit further. On the surface most people didn’t get their relationship, but Sugar’s eccentricities really did nicely compliment Artie’s own quirks. They had their disagreements, but they always ended with a smile and a joke. Truly there wasn’t anyone who quite understood them like they understood each other, and after Artie’s senior year no one questioned their connection or relationship. Instead they more more inclined to think the two really had found each other, and Sugar and Artie felt the same way. So, it wasn’t surprising that when Sugar got pregnant the summer before her senior year and right before Artie was set to go off to MIT, that Artie stayed in Lima, and instead ended up proposing to Sugar, with her father’s blessing of course, and Sugar accepted enthusiastically.
Refusing to get married while pregnant and swollen, Sugar insisted she give birth first and then be allowed three months to get back to her original hotness. So, nine months later she gave birth to their first and only child, Thomas Justin Abrams, or rather TJ, then like clockwork three months later, Sugar deemed herself hot enough to get married. Artie in those three months had directed and produced a short film that got noticed at a film festival and a major movie produced wanted to take him under his wing, but the job was in New York. So Sugar and Artie had a quickly planned but lavish wedding and moved out to New York, when TJ was about eight months old. One day Sugar decided she was going to be famous and since obviously she’s the most hilarious person in the world, she decided to do amateur night at the Apollo in Harlem. She was instantly loved and her career took off from there. After being parents for a few years and trying to balance their rising careers Artie and Sugar started to drift apart. Sugar reconnected with Rory and Artie was too busy trying to be a good dad and be successful to really notice. Sugar has been having an affair with Rory on and off now for three years, and Artie’s still none the wiser, but an old friend, Quinn Fabray, has seemed to spark his interest again.

Thomas “TJ” Justin Abrams | 18 | FC- Alex Pettyfer |OPEN|
TJ is the typical jock, which to most is usually a surprise considering he’s the son of Artie and Sugar, but he’s never been one for stereotypes. He ruled the school during high school, and he plans to do the same at college. However, TJ’s version of ruling the school is different to what people would expect he always figured if he didn’t stand up and take charge of the football team, then someone who was a million different kinds of jerk was going to do it and rule with fear instead. TJ has always stood up for what’s right, honest almost to a fault (courtesy of his mother) and an awareness of his own attractiveness; he’s never been one for backing down. He isn’t a bully, but he’s not afraid to get into a fight if the situation calls for it. TJ isn’t afraid of anybody, but he also doesn’t like for anyone to be afraid of him. He’s on a football scholarship at NYU, his mother unwilling to let him move away and considering what he knows about his parents relationship…he didn’t want to go either.
Around two years ago TJ saw his mom kissing Rory Flanagan, so he got the Anderson-Smythe twins involved and hacked her emails. He knows about the affair, he knows she’s cheating and he has spent two years doing everything he can to try and get his parents relationship back on track. He tries not to think about the fact that he’s keeping it a big secret from his dad, tries to not let the guilt get to him, because he knows that once he starts to feel guilty, he’ll tell him…and then his parents will have no way of fixing their relationship. He tried not to let his experience with his parents affect his own relationships, but TJ is very possessive, if he likes someone, then as far as he’s concerned they are his. He’s extremely possessive and rather jealous but with that comes loyalty and TJ would never cheat on anyone…not when he’s seen the damage it can do.
